About Us
The idea of the Wedding Place was a mental
passion during the months of May, June, and July
2004. Because the passion was so strong in July,
market research began in August 2004. After much
research to determine the supply and demand in
Beaufort, all of the Low Country, surrounding
Counties, Florida, and Savannah, Ga (Hinesville,
Pooler, Rincon, and other GA cities/counties), it
was determined that there was a need for the
services that the Wedding Place could, would and
does provide.
Therefore, The Wedding Place was founded in
2004, and our doors opened to brides and grooms in
January 2005. We performed our first wedding
ceremony in March 2005, and our goal was and still
is, to provide memories of couples' wedding day at
affordable prices. Receptions and/or honeymoon
nights can be added to packages. Wedding Planner
Packages and Full Wedding Planner Services are
also available.
Making wedding memories stress free and
affordable is our motto. That is what we do. We
want your wedding day to be a day that you can
remember and cherish, because the day you get
married is the day you get married, and no matter
how you try, you can not and will never duplicate
that day. So, we take your picture on your wedding
day, which captures that moment, and the memories
that can never be duplicated. You can have a bigger
ceremony years later, but you will never relieve the
actual day you got married. And, that is why we
want couples to have something to remember one of
the most important and happiest days of their lives.
